Proven over two decades in the field, it carries on a legacy of delivering durability and comfort without restricting movement – now with a front leash attachment point and a neck buckle to eliminate the over-the-head on/off experience for head-shy dogs.
The reinforced handle offers balanced lift and assist support for navigating technical terrain, while a perforated foam back panel provides breathable structure without adding bulk. I love this harness! Maggie is able to do all of her doggie things & I am able to quickly intervene should I need to (another dog off leash, the owl that lives across the road, etc). I bought the Tennessee Orange so she looks the part of a Volunteer & the hinting dog that she desires to be.
My dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and needed his from leg amputated. Once he was healed and gaining strength I wanted to take him back on the trails and needed a harness that would stay put with a retractable leash attached. IMO - 99% of dog harnesses are made for dogs with 4 legs (which is fair), but thousands of dogs have front leg amputations that go on to have active lifestyles post surgery. When I went searching for harnesses made for front leg amputees, I found nothing except slings and assisted carrying harnesses (for back leg amputees). I had bought and tried every style of harness I thought would work, but they all either twisted around him and came loose or slipped forward to his neck. Then I discovered the “double H” design (which is this harness design) and went searching for quality. My dog is sensitive with harnesses so I had to find one that would be comfy yet durable yet stayed in place when snug. THIS. HARNESS. IS. IT. And you know what sold me? One of the dog models they feature for this harness is a front leg amputee. My dog is tall and lean at 70 lbs, and this harness fits him like a glove. After 2 good hikes in it he has not shown any signs of discomfort. *note to the marketing team: push this harness as a front leg amputee friendly harness! I wish I would have found this sooner!!
