Due to the dynamic position of the leash connection, pressure is always directed directly to the chest, never riding up on the dogs throat. The simple yet effective design also lets your dog retain a full range of motion without having to worry about underarm irritation or chafing. Getting your dog into this USA made harness is incredibly easy. Just drop it over your dogs head, secure the Velcro strap around his girth and connect the locking safety snap. How to Measure Your Dog:
Using a flexible measuring tape or your dog's leash,measure from just behind your dog's front legs all the way around him or her at the widest part. You are measuring the circumference (or girth) - like measuring a person for a belt. Select one of the sizes above based on that measurement. To assure the best fit for your dog's shape,your dog's girth size should not be at the extreme end of the range give for a particular harness size; for example,if your dog's girth measurement is 33",you will get the best fit from a XL harness rather than a Large.

ComfortFlex Sport Harness 
I bought this harness for my eight month old giant Goldendoodle as he is A LOT! The harness goes on and off quickly and stays secure. It is comfortable for Milo to wear and helps keep him under control. He just loves life and this gives me confidence while walking him and we now both enjoy our walks. I bought this same harness a few years ago for my Lab mix and she is also very comfortable wearing it, even though she does not like harnesses and leashes as a rule. The harness is well made, holds up well and feel free to order from The Dog Outdoors...they are awesome!
My dog is quite round and large, we looked for a harness around 40" and most L/XL harnesses we tried on didn't fit, even if they claimed to go up to that size. This one we got in an xxl and it fit him. It's very simple to take on and off and seems comfortable for him.
Used the ComfortFlex Sport to take my 95lb bully breed girl for a walk yesterday and never felt out of control. Really appreciate the loop handle at the top of the harness for added control, which is fantastic for training. Super easy on and off!! Really happy with my purchase.
